Ford Pinto Thermostat Housing long nose

This is a thermostat housing that fits the 1.3, 1.6 and 2.0 pinto engine, this is the longer reach housing as fitted to the earlier pinto engines.  The longer nose is preferred as it moves the radiator hose away from the timing belt.
